Dr. Lorin D.
Lawrence Owner, Medical
Director
Professional Interests:
Soft tissue surgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, and avian medicine.
Dr. Lawrence has been a part of Ebenezer Animal
Hospital since 1985 and is the owner and medical director of the practice. He received his BS
from Syracuse University, MS from Southern Illinois University, and DVM from the University
of Missouri. In his free time, Dr. Lawrence is an avid bicyclist, plays racquetball, swims,
enjoys motorcycling, and likes computers and other gadgets. Aside from his son, step-son,
step daughter, and wife, Dr. Lawrence's "extended" family includes his Doberman Pincher,
Zubin, Domestic shorthair cats, Shrek, Sade, and Spooky and Pekingnese
Cisco.

compassionate staff, having so many very loving and devoted pet owners utilizing our professional
services, and being able to change with the times to offer new and exciting services and products

Dr. Elizabeth L.
Hill Associate Veterinarian
Professional
Interests: Internal medicine, exotic animal medicine, dentistry, public speaking on
veterinary topics
Dr. Hill has been a part of Ebenezer Animal Hospital
since 2004. She graduated from Meredith College with her BS and attended the University of
Georgia where she received her DVM. Along with her daughter Megan, Dr. Hill has three
Domestic shorthair cats (Gus, Moe, and Brady) along with a sweet Pomeranian named Gracie. Dr.
Hill enjoys diving and photography when she's away from the hospital and has had the
opportunity to dive at several Caribbean islands.

Dr. Robin LePardo
Associate Veterinarian
Professional Interests: Soft
tissue surgery, orthopedics, dentistry
Dr. LePardo began her professional career as a veterinarian
in 2007 with Ebenezer Animal Hospital. A native of Connecticut, she enjoys the warmer winters and
reduced traffic of the northeast. She is a 2007 graduate of Purdue University's College of
Veterinary Medicine and received her BS from Gateway College and Quinnipiac University. Along
with her husband Charlie, she currently lives with her Great Dane Titan and three Domestic
shorthair cats (Target, Rainman, Zooloo). Dr. LePardo is a former softball player and enjoys
motorcycles, video games, watching television, and the occasional ice cream
cone! |

Dr. Jay E.
Hreiz
Associate Veterinarian
Professional Interests:
Avian and exotics (small mammals & reptiles) medicine and surgery.
Dr. Hreiz is the newest addition to the Ebenezer
family. He is a 2008 graduate from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary
Medicine and received his BS from Penn State University. Prior to moving to the Carolinas,
Jay split half his life between New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He enjoys running, playing video
games (especially World of Warcraft), traveling, and is a licensed judge under the American
Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA). Dr. Hreiz currently lives with his Greyhound Aeris,
Beagle Joe, two Domestic shorthair cats (Dax & Meeks), and Ferret Fiadie.
"I relish the opportunity to practice quality
veterinary medicine on multiple species situated alongside a great community and fantastic
weather."

April Splawn,
JD
April Splawn has been the administrator of Ebenezer
Animal Hospital since 2004. She is a 2001 graduate from Winthrop University (BA) and received her Juris
Doctor (JD) from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2004. Professional affiliations
include the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association. At home she enjoys the company of the following;
Timber (Retriever mix), Kade, Trail (Pitbull mix), Cameron (Pitbull), Spunky (Domestic longhair cat),
Mickey, Wesley, Blink, Figaro (Domestic shorthair cats), and Cogsworth (rabbit).
