 AVIAN AND EXOTICS  CARE

  • We are one of the only veterinary clinics in the area that will see birds, small mammals, and reptiles on an appointment, drop-off, or emergency basis.
  • Services we offer for your pet birds include medical examinations, hospitalization, beak trims, nail trims, wing clips, behavior consultations, and husbandry consultations.
  • Small mammals we see include ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats, and hedgehogs. We offer medical examinations, routine rabies vaccinations for ferrets, teeth trimming on rabbits and rodents, husbandry recommendations, hospitalization, and routine surgeries (spays, neuters, mass removals).
  • We can perform routine bloodwork on several species in our clinic and send tests out for various other species for results within 1-2 business days.
  • Reptiles and amphibians are welcomed to our clinic with the exception of venomous snakes.
  • All hospitalized avian, small mammal, and reptile/amphibian patients are housed in our exotics ward which is separated from the rest of the hospital and has more sensitive temperature control.
  • Please take the time to fill out a husbandry form prior to your visit so we can get a better idea of your special pets living arrangements and diet.
  • Like dogs and cats, we carry a line of quality food formulated for several different sizes of birds.
  • You are welcome to board your bird, small mammal, or reptile here while away from home!
